Static PID

The Static PID Step-Response Simulator provides a simple visual introduction to proportional, integral, and derivative control. A unit step is applied to the setpoint, and the resulting closed-loop response is displayed immediately as the controller gains are adjusted.

The simulator is intended to isolate the basic effects of each PID term before moving on to the more detailed dynamic process simulations.
